Sitting in church one day, I was distracted by the pattern on the shirt of a person
seated in front of me. I made a quick sketch, and then, after a few more days, I
had come up with a design that could be made into a quilt. I had been dyeing cotton
fabrics for 7 years now, so I custom-dyed the blues, and then constructed the quilt
with the paper-piecing method. Machine quilted in the ditch.
